For one of our customer, we are currently looking for IT Director
Permanent position
Starting date: asap
Language skills: English is a must.
Location: Burundi, Central African Republic, Namibia and Zimbabwe
Purpose of the role:
Develop an IT strategy in line with the company corporate strategy.
Maximize the company’s value creation by running effective and efficient IT operations
The role holder defines IT policy covering all hardware/software initiatives, procurement, staff development, training etc.
The role impacts directly on the performance of all staff within the organization.
Impact overall business in terms of billing and other customer services as result of systems related issues.
Duties:
Develop and monitor the corporate IT strategy and longer-term vision, ensure effective IT and business interface.
Define a training/staff development strategy, which addresses the new skills required in IT Provide a hardware and software infrastructure as well as user support for all departments, including call centre infrastructure Continuously promote best practice operations
Processes to support telecom product development processes, evaluate and implement opportunities to reduce cost base (outsourcing, offshore)
Negotiate service level agreements within the business units and other business units and corporate centers of the company. Continuously implement best practices and keep relationship with other IT leaders.
Promote the image of the company as a leading edge IT organization with external IT partners or suppliers.
