This role is to manage and maintain all test environments used for the development and implementation of change into the GPE suite of applications.
This role is about:
•Establishing and enforcing policies, processes and tools to support projects and analysis if incidents.
Major tasks:
•Using existing tools to provide a wide range of test configurations
•Customised to project requirements
•Investigating environment related issues to ensure testing/development can run smoothly
•Document and maintain code versions and environment details
•Report status and outline future requirements
•Define Process enhancements
•Ensure quality deliveries within reducing timelines,
•Liaise with other teams to automate and enhance process and procedures.
•Re-Engineer process to improves service quality

Experience and Skills Required :
This is a fast moving environment which requires rapid responses and is bound by tight deadlines. The following experience and personal attributes are required:
Experience:
•Graduate calibre,
•5 years technical experience within a development and/or support role
•Scripting (DOS, Shell, Perl)
•PL/SQL for Oracle and SQL on MSSQLServer
•Windows and Unix operating systems
•Fluent in written and spoken English & French
Advantageous:
•Understanding of banking systems
•Development languages such as .Net, C#,
•Experience in an release or a technical environment role
